Sunkissed Acres exists to support the animals in our community who did not ask to be born homeless or abandoned to the elements—those who need the help of humans but are unable to let them know.

As we can, we also support the people in our community who need help keeping the pets they love in their homes—help with food or veterinary care or flea and tick prevention.

And finally, we work with other animal rescues in our community to share veterinary and foster resources and medical supplies as possible. It truly does “take a village,” and we all share a common dream:  the day we are no longer needed, as there are no homeless, hurting, and hungry animals still needing to be saved.  For now, it is still a dream, but it is one we are working every day to make true.
